Did you know Sea Otters hold hands while sleeping so they don’t float away from each other?! Sea Otters sometimes hold hands while sleeping to keep each other from floating away. Often a mother and pup(baby Sea Otter) will hold on to each other while they are resting so that they don’t drift off from each other or the rest of their group, which is called a raft.
